Basically it is a story between two best friends; a student and a dog. Ever since my dog Bobby was awfully ill during the summer my love for him (was already huge) and dogs grew substantially which you guys already know from my previous post.
Anywho I have been wanting to do a dog script for a while and for my final year I was going to adapt the awesome book The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein alas this is already in progress and due to be released sometime around April next year!!!
But since watching Marley and Me and Homeward Bound I feel compelled to complete my ambition and so for the thirty minute script I have decided to do this; I think I will be doing some sort of animal script for my final anyway!!!!
So question is what sort of dog should I work with? I mean there are so many questions to consider amongst all this! What size? What breed? What name is suitable for such a dog? Names are so so so important! So here are some breeds I am considering for the main protagonist (Dog)
Maltease;

Cute and small so easy to sneak into places. My favourite of the 3 I am considering using.
Up next is a dog we should all recognise from our childhood years!!!
Cairn Terrier:

Best well known breed as Toto from the Wizard of Oz; which is obviosuly a bit risky as 'she' (a bitch played Toto not a male.) is very famous and this may be seen as unoriginal to some extent, though I could possibly get away with it if I used a dog with the floppy ears (third piccie). Hmmm....decisions decisions.
And last but not least of the doggie world is..........
Bearded Collie Cross:

They vary in size and colour and everything making this breed very special; by using this dog I can create a very unique dog, it is medium size which is my only doubts but otherwise I am having a hard time choosing which breed to use before I develop his character.
By the way I have a chosen a name which always affects choosing a dog in the first place if you have a name in mind.
His name will be Obea- pronounced like Obi from Star Wars- which is Hebrew for one with a big heart. So a small dog would obviously be good for this as I can work on 'for such a small creature you sure do have a big heart!'
Anywho I doubt anyone actually reads this but comments are welcomed!!!
Bye bye for now- actually probably for a while because I dont know whether I am going to have the internet over Christmas!!!
So Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
See you dudes in the future!
